| A bright comet is visible in the sky next to Venus, which looks like a thin sickle. How is Venus’s sickle positioned relative to the direction of the comet’s tail?
The comet’s tail is directed in space and in the sky in the direction opposite to the Sun. Venus’s sickle horns are directed in the same direction. Consequently, the comet’s tail will be directed in the same direction as Venus’s sickle horns.
