A piece of ice floats in a glass of water, in which there is a wooden block. Will the water level in the glass change when the piece of ice melts?

The water level in the glass will not change, because the wooden block floats on the surface of the water, its density is less than the density of water, and the volume of melted water (ice) is equal to the volume of water displaced by the ice.
