A rabbit’s egg is 3,000 times smaller than a frog’s egg and contains few nutrients. Why doesn’t a rabbit embryo die from a lack of nutrients?

1) The frog is a representative of the amphibian class. The development of their larvae occurs in the environment (water) due to the nutrients of the fertilized egg.
2) Rabbit – a representative of the class of mammals, which are characterized by intrauterine development.
3) During development, the mammalian embryo is located in the uterus and feeds on the nutrients of the mother’s body.
