Against what and for what did Bismarck fight?

Bismarck saw the main task in strengthening the unity of the empire and fought against everything that, in his opinion, threatened him. Bismarck considered one of these threats Catholics who opposed the predominance of Protestant Prussia in Germany. He feared that under the banner of Catholicism all those who were dissatisfied could unite. Bismarck considered the socialist class struggle to be another threat.
