| Aluminum and iron cubes are balanced on the lever. Will the balance be disturbed if both cubes are completely submerged in water? Which dice outweighs if they are:
a) have the same mass;
b) have the same volume?
The density of the iron cube is greater, so its volume is less. In water, the force of Archimedes acting on the aluminum cube will be greater, therefore, in both cases, it will outweigh the iron cube.
