| An external periodically varying force is applied to the end of the spring pendulum, the oscillation frequency of which is 16 Hz. Will resonance arise in this case if the oscillation period of the spring pendulum is 0.063 s?
Period of oscillation of the external force; T = 1 / v = 1/16 = 0.0625
Because the period of free oscillations of the pendulum is less, then there will be no resonance.
