Any violation of the law is an offense. How can you explain that offenses are divided into crimes and misdemeanors?

Types of offenses or their classification is the division of offenses into groups, categories according to certain criteria: the nature of the regulated relationship, the degree of public danger, subjects, prevalence (by number, time, regions). By social danger, offenses are usually divided into:
• crimes
• other offenses (misconduct, tort) – administrative, disciplinary, civil – legal.
Misdemeanors are culpable unlawful acts that are not socially dangerous, entailing the use of not punishments, but penalties. Misdemeanors differ in the types of relationships they cause disorder and in the types of penalties that are applied for them.
