By the end of the 5th century, most of the barbarians who conquered Gaul had converted to Christianity. Why did they need it?

The Gauls adopted Christianity in the 4th century. Later, the leaders of the new barbarian invaders were baptized in order to reconcile with the church, to enlist its support in the management of the conquered Gauls.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
