Calculate how much time per day pauses in the heart?
June 26, 2020 | Education
| A period of one contraction and relaxation of the heart is called the cardiac cycle. A person’s heart is reduced approximately 75 times per minute. Each cycle lasts 0.8 s and consists of three phases: atrial systole, ventricular systole and a general pause. The duration of the total pause is 0.4 seconds.
0.4 * 75 = 30 s
That is, half a minute, respectively, in a state of a general pause, the heart is 12 hours a day or
30 * 1440 = 43,200 s
43200/60/60 = 12 hours
