Electromagnetic vibrations can be obtained in an oscillatory circuit. However, experience shows that the efficiency of energy transfer using an electromagnetic wave will be very low. This is due to the fact that the changing electric and magnetic fields that generate the electromagnetic wave are concentrated mainly between the capacitor plates and inside the coil.
