Can the file system in Microsoft Windows (and similar OS) be called hierarchical. What is the meaning of the connections between the elements of this system? What are leaves, branches, roots in it?
The file system can be called hierarchical. Because it contains directories and subdirectories. Root is the root directory, branches are arrows, and leaves are subdirectories.
