Compare the activities of the I and II Internationals according to independently selected criteria.

The First International was oriented towards international solidarity, i.e. mutual understanding, unity of interests and tasks of the proletarians of all countries. The main goal of the Second International was the struggle for socialism, but the understanding of the methods and methods of this struggle, and of socialism itself, was already different. In foreign policy, the partnership of the First International aimed at preventing fratricidal wars and national conflicts. The Second International disintegrated as the socialists of the states belligerent against each other supported the military efforts of their governments.
