Compare the geographical location and natural wealth of Canada and the United States. What are the similarities and differences? How are the economies of these countries developing?
Canada occupies a significant part of the North American continent and goes to three oceans – the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic. By the total length of the coastline, it is ahead of all other countries of the world. On land, Canada borders with only one state – the United States. It has maritime borders with the territory of Denmark and Greenland and with the Arctic sector of Russia. The presence in the south and northwest of land borders with the United States – the most economically developed state in the world – made Canada very dependent on a neighboring country. Canada’s access to the Pacific and Atlantic oceans contributes to its active role in the international organizations of these regions.
