Could there be an endless expansion of the universe?

| If the average density of matter in the Universe is less than the critical density pcr = 3 * 10–27 kg / m3, then the Universe will expand infinitely. Modern estimates of the average density of visible matter give the value p = 3 * 10–28 kg / m3. Accounting for the hidden mass will increase this value. Thus, the question of the future of the universe has not yet been resolved. The important characteristics of the universe are not well defined.
