The second stage 1969-1976 – strengthening of the personality cult of Mao Zedong, continuation of the internal party struggle.

Results: the establishment of a military-bureaucratic dictatorship, about 10 million people were killed. Ending with the death of Mao Zedong on September 9, 1976.
