Cyclones (areas of low pressure) and anticyclones (areas of high pressure) are atmospheric vortices. In which direction, when viewed from space, is the movement of air in cyclones and anticyclones

In cyclones, where the pressure is lowered, the air moves towards the center, and in anticyclones, where the pressure, on the contrary, is higher, the movement occurs from the center. Due to the action of the Coriolis force, a vortex motion arises, which in cyclones of the northern hemisphere occurs counterclockwise, and in cyclones of the southern hemisphere – clockwise, when viewed from space. In anticyclones, the direction of the vortex movement will be opposite in comparison with cyclones.
