Describe the composition and possible origin of the meteorites.

Iron meteorites are composed mainly of iron (about 90%) and nickel; iron stone – from iron, nickel and silicates; stone have a high content of silicates, and iron and nickel only 10% by weight; possible sources of origin: the asteroid belt, decay of cometary nuclei.
