| The inductor in the three-phase current generator is an electromagnet, the winding of which is supplied with direct current. The inductor is the rotor, the armature of the generator is the stator. Three independent electric windings are located in the stator slots, shifted in space to one another at an angle of 120 °. When the rotor rotates, an EMF of induction arises in each of the three windings, which changes according to a harmonic law.
