Describe the main role of algae in the biological cycle of substances of the biosphere.

In the oceans, algae are producers and produce oxygen necessary for the respiration of aquatic organisms. Algae release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, create organic matter. With the death of algae and the release of organic substances, the latter are also involved in the cycle of substances. Algae also provide nutrition and living conditions for many other species.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
