Chromosomes are the main organelles of the cell nucleus that carry genes and determine the hereditary properties of cells and organisms.
Each chromosome is formed by one DNA molecule and its accompanying proteins. In the structural organization of DNA, the central role is played by specific proteins – histone and nonhistone. It is believed that all nuclear DNA is associated with these proteins and forms a nucleoprotein complex called chromatin.
Is a chromosome DNA? A chromosome is a DNA receptacle, where, along with it, there are also proteins of about the same mass. So this is a false statement.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
