| Determine the mass of water to be added to 20 g of acetic acid solution with a mass fraction of 70% to obtain a solution of acetic acid with a mass fraction of 5%.
Let the mass of water -x,
ω (acid) = m (solution) * ω / {m (solution) + X} = 0.05
ω = 20 * 0.7 / (20 + x) = 14 / (20 + x) = 0.05
x = 260 g
