Did dualism contribute to solving the national problem?

Dualism did not solve the national problem. The concessions only to the Hungarians were perceived by other peoples as injustice. They continued to fight, but now not only Germans, but also Hungarians stood in the way of their national demands. On the whole, the dualism system blocked all attempts to mitigate national contradictions in Austria-Hungary. They continued to strengthen, threatening the unity of the country.
