Did the events of the English Revolution of the 17th century, in your opinion, influence? on the ideology of the English Enlightenment? If so, how exactly?
The events of the 17th century English Revolution certainly influenced the ideology of the English Enlightenment. The coup of 1688 (practically bloodless), was called the Glorious Revolution and finally approved a parliamentary, constitutional monarchy in the country. This was enshrined in the Bill of Rights in October 689. The Bill of Rights and the Act of Succession put an end to all attempts to revive absolutism in England forever.
