Do you agree with the statement that the ethnic composition of the region of South-West Asia is diverse? What are the peoples inhabiting the countries of Southwest Asia.
Of course, the ethnic composition is quite diverse, although the number of states with a dominant nation is more than in any other region of the world. This is due to the fact that, firstly, many cultures of the region developed quite apart from each other, and secondly, many of these countries were conquered, which led to incest with the invaders. This region is represented by many peoples, such as: Afghans, Syrians, Arabs, etc.
Quantitatively in South-West Asia, the peoples of the Iranian group prevail, which account for 40% of the region’s population. More than 30% are accounted for by the peoples of the Semitic group and over 25% are Turkic-speaking peoples.
