Explain the differences in the speed of sound propagation in gas, liquid and solid

The speed of wave propagation depends on the density of the medium. The density of a gas is less than the density of a liquid and a solid, therefore the speed of wave propagation in the gas is lower. In a solid, the density is higher and the wave propagation speed is higher.

Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
