| Explain the result of the experiment, which investigated whether the human body can serve as a conductor for transferring some of the electrical charges from a charged electrometer to an uncharged one.
The disappearance of an electric charge from a charged electrometer shows that the human body is a conductor of electricity. Under the action of the force of mutual repulsion, the charges spread over the conducting bodies in the direction of the Earth’s substance – the conductor, therefore the charges spread over the entire surface of the planet.
