Find the probability of hitting the target with two guns together if the probability of hitting the target with the first gun (event A) is 0.8, and the second (event B) is 0.7.
Events A and B are independent, therefore, by the multiplication theorem, the desired probability
P (AB) = P (A) P (B) = 0.7 * 0.8 = 0.56.
