| The Danube River flows through Central and Eastern Europe. Its length is about 2860 kilometers. The Danube begins after the confluence of the Brichag and Brech rivers (Germany) and flows into the Black Sea near the border of two countries – Ukraine and Romania, where its delta breaks up into numerous branches (a chain). In total, its waters flow through the lands of 10 countries: Germany; Austria Slovakia Hungary Croatia; Serbia Bulgaria Romania Ukraine; Moldova.
