Microorganisms include all prokaryotes, and from eukaryotes – protozoa, microscopic forms of fungi and algae. All of them are widely used in industry, agriculture, medicine and energy. The role of microorganisms in the production of drugs, biologically active compounds, feed additives, bacterial fertilizers, in baking, winemaking, and in the production of many dairy products cannot be overestimated. In this regard, the search for new highly productive strains of microorganisms is constantly being conducted.
