| During the alpha decay of the original isotope, alpha particles and an isotope are formed, the mass number of which is four, and the charge number is two less than that of the original isotope. During the electronic beta decay of the initial isotope, beta particles and an isotope are formed, the mass number of which does not change, and the charge number is one more than that of the initial isotope. During the positron beta decay of the initial isotope, beta particles and an isotope are formed, the mass number of which does not change, and the charge number is one less than that of the initial isotope.
