| Obviously, it must be some of the planets close to the Earth – a planet of the terrestrial group. When viewed from Mars, the Earth is an inner planet, and at the moment of approaching Mars, it is turned towards it by the night side. The Earth could be very bright when viewed from the surface of Venus, but this planet is shrouded in a dense layer of clouds, no celestial bodies are visible from its surface. As a result, the Earth can look brightest from the surface of Mercury.
