Rationally – legal or legal type of power is the most common in modern society. This type of power began to take shape in Western Europe, when, in the 13th century, the first generally binding rules of government (Magna Carta, 1215) and rules of self-government (Magdeburg Law) began to appear. The final legal type of power was consolidated in the era of the Great French Revolution (late 18th – early 19th centuries).
