How are cell membranes arranged?

| The biological membrane is a bimolecular layer of phospholipids in which a variety of protein molecules are immersed at different depths from the outside and inside. The thickness of such a membrane is about 7.5 im. Some protein molecules penetrate the membrane through, forming channels – pores of the membrane. All cell membranes have a single structural plan and differ from each other only in the composition of their constituent proteins – enzymes, receptors, etc.
