Using Maxwell’s statement, one can explain the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction in a slightly different way. The coil in the galvanometer circuit is only needed to detect the vortex electric field. The appearance of a vortex electric field is not related to whether there are electric charges in space, on which it acts, or there are no such charges. The phenomenon of electromagnetic induction indicates the fact that a change in the magnetic field in a given place in space causes the appearance of a vortex electric field. This field creates an induction electric current in a closed conductor – electrons move under the action of the forces of a vortex electric field. Thus, these forces do the work of moving charge carriers.
