How did Francis Bacon contribute to the development of science?

The greatest merit of Francis Bacon (1561-1626) is that he proposed a new method of studying nature – reasoning from the particular to the general, based on experimental data. True knowledge, in his opinion, can be obtained only by combining theory with practice.

Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
