How did the armament of Genghis Khan’s troops differ from the armament of the Jurchens? Why did the Mongols defeat the Jurchens?

The weapons and martial arts of the Mongols and the Jurchens in the 13th century were almost the same. But many officials in the Jurchen state were Khitan – the relatives of the Mongols; they willingly went over to the side of the Mongols, one of them became the first minister of Genghis Khan. The indigenous Chinese were indifferent to which of the barbarians won.
