How did the period of industrial prosperity affect the position of the English working class?

In England, the working class grew rapidly, the situation of which was the most difficult in Europe. With a very high birth rate, I don’t have enough jobs. The working day lasted 16 hours a day – a difficult situation. It pushed the workers to fight for their rights, mainly by peaceful means.
