How did the role of Normandy in the history of France differ from the role of the Danelo region in the history of England? What’s the difference?
England, being “on the outskirts”, slowly assimilated the fruits of the economic and cultural development of Europe; the Danelo region was one of the most backward in it. In France, the rate of progress was the highest in Catholic Europe (except for Italy, which retained the cultural influence of Byzantium). The Normans, finding themselves in this “hot” environment, very quickly mastered the emerging feudal system and monetary trade.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
