How does a three-phase alternator work?

In a three-phase current generator, the electromagnet is the rotor. In the stator there are three independent electric windings, shifted in space by an angle of 120 °. When the rotor rotates, an alternating induction current occurs in each of the three windings with a frequency equal to the rotation frequency of the electromagnet.
