| The detector receiver consists of an oscillatory circuit, on which the oscillations are excited by an antenna, and a circuit of a detector, a capacitor and a microphone. The detector can be a semiconductor diode that passes current in only one direction. The connected capacitor smooths out the ripple current. As a result, an audio frequency current flows through the coil.
