How, from the point of view of a series connection of resistors, to explain the dependence of the resistance of a uniform wire with a constant cross-section on its length?
You can break the wire into equal sections. Then we get a series connection of sections, the total resistance of which is equal to the sum of the resistances of each section. The resistance is proportional to the length of the conductor, therefore, the sum of the resistances will be proportional to the sum of the lengths of the sections.
