| An assembly drawing is a document containing an image of an assembly unit (product or part thereof) and the data required for its assembly (manufacturing) and control. On the assembly drawing, the product is shown assembled.
A drawing of a part is a design document containing an image of a part and other data necessary for its manufacture and control. Images (views, sections, sections, remote elements) must fully define the geometric shape of the part.
