How is the arrangement of solid molecules different from the arrangement of liquid molecules?

Molecules in liquids are located at distances equal to the size of the molecules. Preserving the so-called short-range order, so liquids retain their volume. In solids, the molecules are arranged in a specific order called the crystal lattice, therefore, under normal conditions, solids retain their volume and shape.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
