In a nuclear reactor, heat is released during the decay of nuclei. This energy is converted into the energy of the steam that turns the turbine. The steam turbine, in turn, rotates the rotor of a generator that generates an electric current. Reactor is an installation in which a self-sustaining controlled chain nuclear fission reaction is carried out.
