How to detect planets in other stars?

| It is estimated that about 10% of all stars in the Galaxy have dark satellites, including planets. But due to their weak radiation, with the modern development of astronomical technology, they cannot be visible from Earth. Dark satellites are detected by periodic changes in the position of a star around a common center of mass or periodic shifts in the star’s spectrum due to the Doppler effect.
