In globular star clusters, there are quite a few variable RR Lyrae stars, characterized by approximately the same luminosity (about 100 solar luminosities). Can they be seen in a typical globular cluster of our Galaxy in a 20-cm telescope?

Their stellar magnitude will be about + 13.5 ^ m, in a 20-centimeter telescope they will be at the limit of visibility.
