| In the absence of clouds, all objects in the shadow of the Sun should acquire a bluish color, since in this case they are illuminated only by the firmament. Is this phenomenon observed?
In its pure form, this phenomenon is almost imperceptible, since there is illumination of the body from other objects. However, sometimes this effect is noticeable. For example, the shadows of trees on white snow with a cloudless sky have a bluish tint. Objects on Earth acquire a bluish tint at dusk, when the Sun sinks under the horizon.
