In the relationship “predator – prey”, the balance between the number of predators and prey is maintained by special mechanisms that exclude the complete extermination of the prey species. What adaptations do prey and predators develop in this case?
1) victims can run and hide, actively defend themselves and be deployed in groups (herd, flock);
2) predators are able to catch up, camouflage themselves, have well-developed eyesight and smell.
