| In the upper soil layer, after plowing by harrowing, capillaries are destroyed, through which water is “sucked” from any depth. If you noticed: after digging, where the top layer dries up, the earth remains damp under it. And where it is untouched and seems wet from above – in the depths it is much drier and harder.
