In what form do the following metals occur naturally:
a) sodium and calcium,
b) gold and platinum,
c) zinc and iron?
a) since sodium and potassium – active metals, then occur naturally in the form of salts;
b) since gold and platinum – noble metals, then occur naturally in a free state;
c) since zinc and iron are metals of medium activity, they occur naturally in oxides and sulfides.
